Big Apple Greeters were treated to a guided tour of historic Governors Island, known for its unique history in the New York Harbor. Learn some fun facts about the island and plan your own trip there.

Tom Keating, a long-time Greeter and former educator, took 20 Greeters on a virtual visit to every borough as he discussed some of the hundreds of repurposed buildings that have changed ownership many times since being constructed.

On November 11, a large group of Greeters visited The New-York Historical Society to travel back to those dark times with a docent through the exhibit, ‘The Salem Witch Trials; Reckoning and Reclaiming’ (through January 22, 2023).

The huge new Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station: a journey in vintage glamour.

The Daniel Patrick Moynihan Train Hall officially opened on January 1st, 2021, after more than two decades of planning and construction. The hall is a dazzling addition to New York’s Penn Station, located between 7th and 8th Avenues on West 31st Street.
