| Red Hook Initiative | Currently acting as the center for hurricane recovery efforts in Red Hook, Brooklyn. They are providing meals and supplies to those affected. |

| Shore Soup Rockaway Rescue Alliance | They are looking for volunteers to help cook and distribute hot food every week. |

| St. Virgilius Church 16 Noel Road, Far Rockaway (718) 634-5680 | Strong bodied men and women are needed to strip water soaked carpets and other damaged furniture at St. Virgilius Church. Ask for Father Richard Olmyer. |
| Staten Island Hope Animal Rescue | Trying to locate temporary foster homes to assist people that are in need of housing for their pets until they can return home. They also collect donated food for pet parents unable to provide for their pets at this time. |
