- Yes, but you must call your hotel directly for information about meeting your specific needs

Will my Greeter also have a disability?
- Possibly,
but not necessarily. We do not match visitors and Greeters according to
disability. However, many Greeters themselves have disabilities, both
visible and invisible.
- Ongoing mandatory Sensitivity Awareness sessions keep staff and volunteers informed and sensitive to disability issues that visitors face when visiting New York City.

How do I find out about accessible city transportation?
- New York is very accessible thanks to the MTA’s fleet of lift equipped buses. Many subway stations are elevator equipped. Check www.mta.info/mta/ada for more accessible transportation information, or call The Access Hotline at 1-800-734-6772.

of the theaters will offer discounts for the person with the
disability. Once you have chosen which show you wish to see, call
the theater directly for discount information. See our Access Reference Guide for some names and numbers of theaters.
- Call the theater directly in advance for specific information.
- Important: While a theater may be accessible for seating, the restrooms may not be accessible to wheelchair users.
