If you want to meet
a volunteer greeter, you must fill in the Visit Request Form. If you
choose to make a donation now, you must return to this page to fill in
the Visit Request Form.
Your donation is appreciated
A donation is not required to meet a greeter.
Donations from visitors are important to Big Apple Greeter. We are a
small, not-for-profit organization – not part of New York City
government – and our small cash budget comes from grants, fundraising
events and donations from you – our visitors. Your donation will help
us continue to meet visitors from around the world. The suggested
donation is $20 per person, but the amount you give is up to
you.
Your donation supports the work of Big Apple Greeter
Your donation helps
support the work of the organization and does not pay for the services
of an individual greeter. A donation does not guarantee that you will
be matched with a Volunteer Greeter.
Greeters give their
time and share their love of New York City with visitors from all over
the world. Visitors consistently praise their Greeters and express
gratitude for providing such a welcoming and valuable introduction to
New York City.
All requests are processed on a first come-first served basis.
Donations are welcome and appreciated at any time.
